In City Meditation Retreats

Sati in-city retreats are taught over the course of one evening and one full day. They serve as a fantastic introduction to meditation, as well as a powerful way to solidify an already existing practice. 

Sati practice retreats present a direct path to mindfulness practice in both our daily lives and on the meditation mat. Through a sequential series of meditation and contemplative workshops, Sati provides a way to practice and train our most naturally occuring and best qualities as human beings.

Workshops focus on building presence of mind, awareness in the moment, emotional resilience, empathy, compassion, creativity, and a sense of connection to the outside world. Through practice we raise confidence and personal insight while decreasing anxiety and emotional reactivity.

Retreat workshops include:

  • Guided meditation instruction
  • Traditional meditation instruction
  • Discussions and talks on daily mindfulness practice and philosophy 
  • Personal interviews with our instructors
  • Support for the creation of a sustainable personal meditation practice
